5427 Eichelberger Street

About this home

Circa 1931. Here is your chance in the Southampton Neighborhood. This 2 bedroom brick bungalow packs a wallop on the curb appeal. Inside the foyer greets you w/ arched entryways, hardwood floors & the charm of the gingerbread feel of the 1930's. Large living room blends into the dining room so it's great for entertaining. The kitchen has so much potential so bring your ideas because you have great space to work with when you are ready. You can decide to have an eat-in area or design an island. Both bedrooms are good sized. I hope you fall in love w/ the green vintage tile in the bath. Have I talked about the stained glass windows, faux fireplace, crown molding & wood trim?! Also of note: vinyl windows and the washer & dryer to stay. The deck has had some recent boards replaced so bring out a chair or 2 to hang out. The backyard is nice & flat w/ some recently updated wood fence (2025). I can feel the washers or bag tournaments at your next bar-b-que. Southampton is one of the best neighborhoods in STL. Quick access to some great restaurants, bars & services on Hampton Ave, Macklind Ave and Kingshighway. Check out Jovick Bros Burgers just down the street. Bring your ideas & dreams to 5427 Eichelberger!
